Superstart fund manager Sunil Singhania has made various changes to his portfolio for the quarter ended on March 31, 2023. The ace fund manager owns, various schemes under, Abakkus Asset Manager LLP.
Singhania has been on a selling spree in the March 2024 quarter as he cut his stake in five companies, inclduing two potential exits for the period. However, he has stayed put in as many as seven companies so far.
Singhania's is fund Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund-1 sold 1 lalkh shares of DCM Shriram between January-March 2024 period as his shareholding dropped to 24,90,000 equity shares, or 2.86 per cent stake, in the company.
The same scheme from Singhania's portfolio trimmed its stake in Carysil. Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund-1 sold more than 28,000 shares of the company to bring its stake down to 15,44,474 equity shares, or 5.76 per cent stake, as of Q4FY24.
Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund-1 also sold about 88,777 shares of Siyaram Silk Mills during the given quarter to bring its share holding down to 7,227,654 equity shares, or 1.59 per cent stake in the company.
Name of Abakkus Growth Fund-II went missing from the key shareholders list of CMS Info Systems for the given quarter as its shareholding patterin the company slipped below 1 per cent. It owned 16,11,678 equity shares, or 1.03 per cent stake, in the company as of December 31, 2023.
Similarly, Abakkus Growth Fund-II did not feature in key shareholder's list of Dreamfolks Services, where it owned 806,550 equity shares, or 1.52 per cent stake, for the December 2023 quarter. However, its exit is partial or complete, can not be ascertained.
Singhania's fund kept its stake unchanged in ADF FOods, HIL, Rupa & Company, Technocraft Industries (India), TTK Healthcare, Stylam Industries and PSP Projects for the given quarter ended on March 31, 2024.
According to the data from Trendlyne, Sunil Singhania publicly holds 26 stocks with a net worth of more than Rs 2,894.9 crore as per the latest corporate shareholdings filed so far.
