An unidentified object seen in the skies over New York City has sparked speculation of another Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) sighting.
Michelle Reyes, aboard a commercial flight on March 25, claimed to have observed an unusual "flying cylinder" from her airplane window near LaGuardia Airport in New York.
Reyes reported the sighting to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and expressed concerns about potential safety hazards, but has yet to receive a response.
Thomas Wertman, state director of the Mutual UFO Network, reviewed the footage and suggested that the object, observed at an altitude of approximately 2,500 feet, could pose a potential hazard.
Wertman noted the object's round shape and lack of wings or tail, distinguishing it from typical commercial aircraft.
The object's close proximity to a major flight lane raised questions about its nature, with Wertman suggesting it was unlikely to be related to military or law enforcement activity.
While the object's identity remains uncertain, Wertman emphasized the need for additional research to determine its origin and potential implications.
