Prior to the trailer, there were rumours that 'Dunki' looked similar to Dulquer Salmaan's 2017 release 'Comrade in America'. However, it later emerged that the movies are polar opposites what with the Hirani movie being about the arduous journey of people trying to move to London the illegal way and the Malayalam movie is more of a love story
Last year, actor Sriya Reddy raised the hype about 'Salaar' by comparing it to the cult HBO series 'Game of Thrones'. "Salaar will be several notches above KGF. It will blow your mind. It is not an ordinary film. It is nothing like you’ve seen before. It’s a different world altogether. Prashanth Neel is creating a world like that of Game of Thrones and Prabhas will be playing a powerful character in the movie. There’s also Prithviraj Sukumaran and other actors who could just blow everyone."
Despite 15 days left for release, 'Salaar' has already garnered $500,000 in advance booking in US while overseas fans of Shah Rukh Khan will be able to make advance booking from Thursday (December 7) onwards
