Know the auspicious colours to wear on each day of Navaratri

9 April (Yellow) is the first day of Navratri. On this day, Goddess Durga's form as Shailputri, and Goddess Shailputri's favourite colour is yellow.

On the fifth day of Navratri, Maa Skandamata is worshipped. This goddess is considered to be the giver of power. Maa Skandamata loves white colour.

Mother Katyayani is worshipped on the sixth day of Navratri. She is the goddess of health. Mother Katyayani likes the colour red.

The 7th form of Goddess Durga is Kaalratri. She is worshipped on the 7th day of Navratri. Kaalratri likes the colour blue.

On the 8th day of Navratri, Mahagauri, the 8th form of Goddess Durga is worshipped to get rid of the dark veil of one's sins.
