Samsung India has announced the launch of its latest smartphones, the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G. These devices feature big displays and 5G making them ideal for the consumption of media
Samsung aims to drive 5G adoption in India by launching these two devices. Samsung claims the additional battery and a relatively accessible price point will broaden Samsung’s reach in 5G segment
Galaxy A14 5G features a laser pattern back cover and is available in three colours: Dark Red, Light Green, and Black. The Galaxy A23 5G also comes in three colours: Silver, Orange, and Light Blue
Both devices come with large displays, the Galaxy A14 5G with a 6.6-inch HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and the Galaxy A23 5G with a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen and a 120Hz refresh rate
Both devices feature a 5000mAh battery and support fast charging. The Galaxy A23 5G also features an adaptive power-saving mode that automatically adapts to usage and switches to power-saving mode
The Galaxy A23 5G sports a 50MP rear camera and a 13MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A14 5G features 50MP triple-lens rear camera set-up with depth and macro lens and a 13MP selfie camera
Both devices come with Samsung's Knox Security suite, built at the chip level. The company has promised to secure the data with 3.5 years of security patch updates
The Galaxy A14 5G is powered by Exynos 1330 Octa-core processor, while Galaxy A23 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. Both devices come with up to 16GB of RAM
Galaxy A14 5G is priced at Rs 16,499 and Galaxy A23 5G will be available at a starting price of Rs 22,999. Consumers can pre-order online via Amazon and Samsung's website. Sale will start on Jan 20
Galaxy A23 5G will be available with a Rs 2,000 cashback when paid via SBI, IDFC and ZestMoney whereas Galaxy A14 5G will be available with a cashback of Rs 1,500 when paid via SBI, IDFC and ZestMoney
