The UP Police are viewing the case, prima facie, as a suicide. However, one of the seer’s most ardent disciples Anand Giri, has alleged that he did not die by suicide but was ‘tortured over money’ and ‘murdered’. Anand Giri’s name was mentioned in the suicide note and he has been detained, along with two others, by the UP police. He has stated that it is all a ‘huge conspiracy’ against him.
