iPhone 15 and  iPhone 15 Pro:  Everything we know

Apple will launch the iPhone 15 series on September 12 at 10:30 PM in India.

The iPhone 15 is rumored to start at $799 in the USA. In India, it could start at the usual Rs 79,900.

Apple could replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 Ultra or introduce a fifth variant altogether in the new iPhone 15 series.

All iPhone 15 models are rumored to have Apple's innovative Dynamic Island notch and switch to a USB Type-C port instead of the Lightning port.

Apple is also reportedly planning significant changes for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, including switching from stainless steel to titanium side frames.

The iPhone 15 lineup is rumored to retain the 6.1-inch screens on the standard and Pro models and 6.7-inch screens on the Plus and Pro Max models.

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to use the new A17 Bionic chip, which is the first A-series chip from Apple to be built on a 3-nanometer process.

The standard iPhone 15 models are said to feature 48-megapixel rear cameras, and a periscope lens with upto 5-6x optical zoom for The iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Apple is also reportedly exploring a a new mute switch feature in iOS 16 that can control silent mode, flashlight, Focus mode, Translate, and Magnifier.

The iPhone 15 lineup is rumored to have larger batteries, up to 4,852mAh, and support for up to 35W fast charging.
