Rishabh Pant was born on October 4, 1997 to Rajendra Pant and Saroj Pant in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. His parents had a huge role in helping shape Rishabh’s career at a young age. His father began training him on their rooftop, where he would tie a pillow around Rishabh’s chest and bowl bouncers to him, as per media reports

Pant was only 12 when he and his mother Saroj would take a train to Delhi on the weekend so that he could get trained with Tarak Sinha at the Sonnet Cricket Academy

Rishabh Pant made his first-class debut in October 2015 in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy. He got noticed in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, when he scored 308 runs in an innings, which made him the third-youngest Indian to score a triple century in first-class cricket
