RBI's Gold Bond In 2022 Opens For Subscription: All You Need To Know

The Sovereign Gold Bond 2022-23 Series III tranche opens for subscription from today. It will be open between December 19 to December 23

According to Reserve Bank of India, the issue price of the Bond during the subscription period shall be Rs 5,409 per gram without discount

How To Buy RBI Gold Bond

The SGB will have an 8-year tenor. However, premature redemption can be done after fifth year. It can be done on the date on which interest is payable

As per RBI, persons residing in India as defined under Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 are eligible to invest in SGB. Eligible investors include individuals, HUFs, trusts, universities and charitable institutions
