Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan were seen arriving at Juhu Qabrastan, where Dilip Kumar was buried today. As per reports, the Bachchans arrived after the last rites were performed. Amitabh Bachchan has worked with Dilip Kumar in the cult film Shakti where he essayed the role of Dilip Kumar's son. The film, which also starred Rakhee, still remains a cinephile's favourite.

Padmini Kolhapure is deeply saddened by the demise of the iconic actor. She, who worked with Dilip Kumar in a few films, poured her heart out in an emotional note on social media. She also talked about her bond with him and also praised Saira Banu for taking care of the actor selflessly.

A group of fans of the legendary actor Dilip Kumar gathered around his Mumbai residence in the afternoon to pay a musical tribute to their favourite actor. The group was seen singing the iconic number Dil Diya Hai in unison, from the late actor's film, Karma.

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar's family and friends gather at his residence ahead of his State funeral. The funeral will be held today at 5 pm in Santacruz, Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray had announced earlier that Dilip Kumar will be buried with state honours. Cops were spotted arriving at Dilip Kumar's Mumbai home in preparation for the funeral.

Saira Banu was with Dilip Kumar till his last breath and despite her old age, she was constantly beside him when he had to be shifted in hospital on a regular basis.

Anushka Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor also paid last respects to late actor Dilip Kumar. Janhvi called him irreplaceable with a note on social media. On the other hand, Anushka Sharma thanked the actor for his contribution to cinema. "The outcome of your life will show in every great film that will be made and performances that will be lived for years to come (sic)," Anushka added with a throwback photograph of Dilip Kumar.

Karisma Kapoor dug out an old photograph from the Kapoor family albums to bid veteran actor Dilip Kumar goodbye. The black-and-white photograph shows Dilip Kumar standing alongside Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand. All three are dressed in black suits and looking absolutely dapper. Karisma captioned the image as, "The legendary trio (sic), " with a folded-hand emoji and a red heart emoji.

The news of Dilip Kumar's death has left many hearts broken today, July 7. As everyone grapples with the loss, an old video of Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu with Shah Rukh Khan has started doing the rounds on social media. The video shows Dilip Kumar's 'mooh-bola-beta' Shah Rukh Khan roll out the red carpet for him and Saira Banu at an award ceremony.

SRK has admitted on several occasions that he often tries to mimic Dilip Saab on screen and that he draws inspiration from the legendary actor. What's more, Saira Banu had once said that if she and Dilip Saab ever had a son, he'd look like SRK. Even Shah Rukh Khan's mother felt the same.
