The market capitalisation (m-cap) of Adani Group companies has gone below Rs 7 lakh crore on Monday. The Adani Group m-cap went down to Rs 6.97 lakh crore, down Rs 12.22 lakh crore from Rs 19.19 lakh crore on January 24
Adani Enterprises– Rs 2.46 lakh crore
Adani Total Gas– Rs 3.48 lakh crore
Adani Transmission– Rs 2.32 lakh crore
Adani Green Energy– Rs 2.32 lakh crore
Adani Power- Rs 42,522 crore
Adani Ports– Rs 51,413 crore
Ambuja Cements– Rs 31,542 crore
The gap between Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani is widening in terms of their net worth. Adani’s net worth is almost half of Ambani’s $81.7 bn, as per Bloomberg Billionaires Index
India’s billionaires– RIL’s Mukesh Ambani, Adani Group’s Gautam Adani and DMart’s Radhakishan Damani – have reported significant losses to their wealth in 2023 so far.

- Gautam Adani– $80.6 bn
- Mukesh Ambani– $5.38 bn
- Radhakishan Damani– $2.67 bn

The US-based short seller, led by Nathan Anderson, accused the Adani Group of the following:
-Stock manipulation, accounting fraud
- Having substantial debt, precarious financial footing
- Indulging in share pledging
- Running shell companies out of tax havens like Mauritius- Round-tripping funds
The firm also accused Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani of running a labyrinth of offshore entities to facilitate fraud
