The Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer K.G.F: Chapter 2 minted Rs 1,215 crore globally, as per Sacnilk. The film's plot is based on the gold mafia in Kolar Gold Field in Karnataka. Directed by Prashanth Neel, K.G.F: Chapter 2 is an addition to the KGF movie series
The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal was an all-time blockbuster in Indian cinema. The 2016 film collected a whopping Rs 2,070 crore worldwide, which is the highest ever by an Indian movie in history. More than half of the movie's collection of Rs 1,300 crore came from China after its release in May 2017
