Apple is expected to equip the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max with a 48-megapixel telephoto camera, a significant upgrade from the 12-megapixel lens found in the iPhone 16 Pro models.

However, the front camera is anticipated to remain similar to the iPhone 16 Pro, 12-megapixel.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are rumoured to feature 12GB of RAM, a notable jump from the 8GB in the current Pro versions.

Apple is reportedly working on reducing the size of the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, achieved through smaller Face ID components utilising new "metalens" technology.
The rumour has it that, a new button will be added to the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro that combines the functions of the Action button and volume control.

This design decision is also practical, particularly if Apple introduces the Action Button across all four iPhone 17 models.

Another attractive feature of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro is that, by the time the series will hit the market, Apple Intelligence will be at par.
That being said the main highlight of the iPhone 17 series is the new iPhone 17 Air, which will replace the Plus models.
